General Release: The undersigned does hereby forever discharge, release and hold harmless the Key West Art Center, Inc., the City of Key West and Truman Annex Co. or any member of the Key West Art Center Committee of and from any and all manner of actions, suits, damages or claims whatsoever from any loss of damage to the property of the undersigned while in the possession or supervision of the Craft Show and the City of key West, their agents, representatives or employees, and hereby consents to the enforcement of Craft Show rules as set out in the accompanying brochure and acceptance notice. This application constitutes a reservation and, as such, is a commitment to show if I am juried into the exhibit. Craft Show is not required to make refund for cancellations. Applicant’s Signature ________________________________________________ Deadline September 1, 2009 Mail to: Key West Craft Show, 301 Front St., Key West, FL 33040 General Information and Show Rules DATES: Saturday and Sunday, January 30-31, 2010 TIME: 10: 00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday SET-UP: Saturday 6:00 AM for Whitehead St. – 7:00 AM for Caroline St. TEAR DOWN: Must be completed by 7:00 PM on Sunday evening PARKING: Free in nearby lot. Reduced rate nearby. Details upon acceptance. ELIGIBILITY: Craft artists only. NO dealers, stores or agents may participate. The artist must be present for the entire show and present ID at check in. Exhibitors must be checked in by 8:00 AM on Saturday. If not, the artist may be considered a no-show and his/her space can be reassigned. SPACES: Spaces are assigned by the committee, which tries to honor requests, but makes no guarantees. 10’ x 10’ space $200, 10’ x 15’ spaces for $300 are limited. JURY FEE: $10 for slides $25 for digital cds. Jury Fee in a separate check. Make all checks payable to Key West Craft Show. SECURITY/INSURANCE: Police are on duty 24 hour during the show and set-up/tear down. The Key West Craft Show is not responsible for insuring exhibitors’ work or displays and cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage. REFUNDS: The KWCS Committee is not required to make refunds. PLEASE NOTE: The KWCS has a ZERO tolerance policy for buy/sell, mass produced items, items unlike those juried and artist reps. Work must be produced by the exhibitor. This will be strictly enforced with no exceptions. Artists displaying work outside the category in which they juried, may be asked to remove product. Example: If you jury in the Wood category, you should not display jewelry. If uncertain please contact the director for clarification. APPLICATION PROCESS: Send 3 images of your work and 1 of display along with the completed application. Slides to be in a sleeve strip with Artist’s name on all. CDs labeled with Artist name. Applications with slides jury fee $10. CDs jpegs are $25 jury fee. Booth fee checks are not deposited until one week after acceptance. DEADLINES: Entry to be postmarked by September 1, 2010. Notifications will be mailed no later than October 1, 2010. Late applications may be subject to additional late fee.
